Kalarippayattu is the traditional and indigenous Martial arts of Kerala and is known to be in practice for more than 3000 years. It has been preserved for many centuries following the authentic tradition of Guru Shishya Parampara, It is a wholistic art, it not only knows to hurt but also to heal. This unique combination makes it a complete science and hence makes it the mother of all Martial arts.
Kalari classes are being conducted at Kadhalivanam premises for children on Thursdays and Fridays. Classes are mentored by Sri. Muralidharan Gurukal, Head of CVN Kalari Puthur.
Dance and Music Classes
Trainings are provided by the Samithi for Classical Dance, Classical Music, Violin, Keyboard, Mridangam etc.. at Kadhalivanam.it will be conducted by talented Gurus in the respective seats.
Talent Test
In connection with the (Ramayana Month) celebration, competitions like Drawing, Quiz, Ramayana Recital, Hanuman Chalisa Recital etc.. are being conducted. Cash price and Momentum could be awarded to the winners.
